The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

The Scholastic Aptitude Test is used as one eligibility requirement for college admission. It is accepted by a majority of colleges and universities including all California public universities (as of date of publication, the University of California system is evaluating the use of the SAT as an admissions tool). The SAT consists of two areas of educational development: math and verbal.

Subject Tests are subject area admissions tests required by the more competitive colleges and universities, including the University of California, as well as many private colleges and universities. Some subject areas include: physics, chemistry, Spanish and French.


You can send four free score reports to colleges every time you register for the SAT. This is the fastest way to send scores to colleges and scholarship programs - and there is no fee. For information on how to send scores after the test, please click here

The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the US. 


In addition to the four institutions you selected upon registering, you can send your scores to others, even after you test.
