CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FIRST IB GRADUATES

The results from the May 2012 International Baccalaureate tests are in.  IB Diploma and IB Certificate students took 161 tests and had a pass rate of 80%.  Of our first class of 26 IB Diploma candidates, 18 were awarded the full diploma.  Many of these students will now enter college as sophomores thanks to the hard work they have done these last two years.  Congratulations to all of the IB Diploma and Certificate students, to the teachers who guided this inaugural class, and particularly to Mr. Joe Robinson, our first IB Director and founder.

IB DIPLOMA SENIOR NIGHT

On Wednesday, June 13th, our 2012 IB diploma seniors gathered at the home of Jonathan and Colleen Barney to celebrate their achievements.  After a superb dinner coordinated by Mariko Beaver, Julie Dobkin, Colleen Barney, Pam Edson and Mary Cappellini, we were entertained by the IB trio of Delaney Bell, vocalist, with Sam Edson, and Cole Macias on guitar.   Then, after introducing our IB faculty and distinguished guests, including Principal Michael Vossen and AP Tina Case, it was time for our seniors.  Each senior was called up separately as we talked about their many achievements.
