International Baccalaureate
Freshmen and sophomore students and their families are invited to an informational meeting about NHHS's IB Diploma Program on Thursday, March 5, at 7pm in the library.
Applications for current sophomores who would like to join the IB Diploma Class of 2017 are available at: http://nhhs.nmusd.us/ib.

Club Rescue is a school club working to support and control the feral cat population at the NHHS campus. We are currently trying to get all the cats "fixed." There is only ONE NHHS kitten left for adoption! If you have room in your heart and home, please contact us for more information. If you would like to help support what we're doing, or would like more information about the cats or the club, please check our web site https://nhhs.schoolloop.com/clubrescue.

ROP News

Spring Semester for ROP is underway! If you missed out on the opportunity to enroll in an ROP Course, the next enrollment period will begin just after Spring Break.
Taking ROP courses is an excellent way for students to take the first-step in the college and career exploration process. Best of all, the courses offered are FREE for high school students.
Because participating districts include not only NMUSD but four other surrounding districts, spaces are limited and enrollment is not guaranteed.
*    Earn grades and credits towards high school graduation
*    Gain experience required for immediate employment
*    Enroll in classes that satisfy A-G requirements for UC and CSU
*    Participate in courses that offer internships for students at least 16 years of age
*    Experience careers that may assist in choosing college majors and will enhance college admission applications
For more information about ROP please email (kshannon@nmusd.us), call ((949)515-6309) or visit Mrs. Shannon in Counseling at NHHS. You may also visit Coastlinerop.net for detailed course information.
